Program Details:

1. Can program based on suitable dates for participants
2. Dates will be according to good theyyams especially Fire Theyyam (Kandanar Kelan Theyyam)
3. Participants will get full time of the mentor and also in depth discussion and knowledge sharing on the festival and how to approach each Theyyams.
4. Will be guiding at the location advising the vantage points, things to be prepared and also ensuring they get access to shoot the behind the scenes.
5. Review session on the location plus after the program on the photos taken.
6. Participants will have options to stay at the homestay or any good hotels, options will be provided.
7. Pre-tour online session providing presentation on Theyyam and guidelines.

Program Cost:
$500/- for international participants
Rs. 35,000/- for Indian participants

Above fee is only for mentorship and logistics assistance.

Accommodation, Food, daily vehicle rent, airport pickup and dropoff, tips to the artists and any other personal expenses to be paid separately at cost (Can provide options)

Cancellation Policy:
Within 1 week : 75% refund
Within 2 weeks : 50 % refund
More than 2 weeks : no refund

About the Mentor:
Sreeranj Sreedhar is an award winning Street & Documentary Photographer with over 13 years in photography. He has been documenting Theyyam for 6 years and hence all the experience gained from this festival will be shared with the participants.

Advantages of this tour:

1. You will benefit from his knowledge gained over these years on Theyyam
2. You will be given tips on how each Theyyam behaves and accordingly to anticipate and capture the perfect moments
3. Vantage points to capture the right actions and locations will be advised.
4. Speaks the same language (Malayalam) hence communications at the locations with the locals will be easier.
5. Every program will include the best Theyyams such as Fire Theyyam and others which are good visually and also performance wise. The events are selected accordingly to fit the program so participants get to see the best performances.
6. Will cover around 10 – 15 (sometimes more) per program.
   
   

Important Note:
Theyyam festival dates are taken based on previous year’s performance calendar on the same date. Since some of these events are performed at temples of private families, any changes in their decision to conduct this year due to death in the family or other reasons should be taken into consideration. However we will try to find the same theyyam in another location if possible. If not available then we will fit another type of theyyam.
