Homestay accommodation
Rs 20,000/- per head room sharing basis.

Above price includes:

1. Food (breakfast, lunch & dinner), tea will be served at the accommodation. Water will be provided.
2. Accommodation (at homestay) – very friendly hosts and clean place.
3. Transportation to all theyyam locations (internal)
4. Tour mentorship and guidance – pre-tour meeting and presentation will be shown via google meet and discuss all aspects of the tour. Onsite guidance on vantage points, nature of the event etc, photo review after every outing and also while on the site will be done.

Price does not include:

1. pickup and drop off from kannur airport / railway station to home location. Can be arranged at cost.
2. tips for the artists
3. any other personal expenses

Cancellation Policy:
Within 1 week : 75% refund
Within 2 weeks : 50 % refund
More than 2 weeks : no refund

About the mentor:
Sreeranj Sreedhar is an award winning Street & Documentary Photographer with over 13 years in photography. He has been documenting Theyyam for 6 years and hence all the experience gained from this festival will be shared with the participants.

Advantages of this tour:

1. You will benefit from his knowledge gained over these years on Theyyam
2. You will be given tips on how each Theyyam behaves and accordingly to anticipate and capture the perfect moments
3. Vantage points to capture the right actions and locations will be advised.
4. Speaks the same language (Malayalam) hence communications at the locations with the locals will be easier.
5. Every program will include the best Theyyams such as Fire Theyyam and others which are good visually and also performance wise. The events are selected accordingly to fit the program so participants get to see the best performances.
6. Will cover around 10 – 15 (sometimes more) per program.
   
   

Important Note:
Theyyam festival dates are taken based on previous year’s performance calendar on the same date. Since some of these events are performed at temples of private families, any changes in their decision to conduct this year due to death in the family or other reasons should be taken into consideration. However we will try to find the same theyyam in another location if possible. If not available then we will fit another type of theyyam.
